Avalilly's owner up for national award

Emily Haggart, owner of Avalilly's boutique, 21341 Catawba Ave., has been nominated for Inc.com's Entrepreneur of the Year award. Haggart has advanced to the round where readers determine the winner. Her first entrepreneurial venture was Avalilly's online, selling designer fashion clothing from boutiques on eBay. She later opened the Avalilly's retail store in downtown Cornelius and co-owns Fresh, a clothing boutique in Charlotte.
